National Conservation and Leadership Summit Committees

 

Brotherhood This committee is responsible for training the local lodge to provide a meaningful brotherhood experience, preserve the heritage of the lodge, and manage information effectively.
Chief Corps The Chiefs Corps is composed of current or past lodge, section, region, or national chiefs.  These chiefs serve in support of the NCLS.
Communications Communications is responsible for publishing the daily newsletter and providing communication throughout the summit.
Conservation The Conservation committee is responsible for training 800 Arrowmen in preparation for ArrowCorps5 in 2008.
Events and Activities Responsible for staging a variety of activities, including: athletic competition, recreation activities, displays, movies, religious services.
Gatherings This committee handles the two gatherings that will happen at the start and end of the summit.
National Event Promotions This committee is responsible for promoting national events, including the upcoming ArrowCorps5.  Lodges can learn how to best promote national events in years to come.
Outdoor Adventure The Outdoor Adventure Committee is responsible for planning, preparing and teaching programs related to conservation, outdoor ethical practices and ArrowCorps5.
Region Operations This committee consists of the Region Chiefs, chairmen, and advisers.  The staff of the new Trailhead program are part of this committee as well.
Service to Scouting This committee is responsible for training about the new Order of the Arrow Strategic Plan.
Trading Post The Trading Post Committee is responsible for designing and producing all Summit merchandise.
