Information For Arrowmen

This summer, Order of the Arrow members from around the country have the unique opportunity to get together at the National Order of the Arrow Leadership Summit (NCLS). Over 2,000 Arrowmen will come together for fun, to learn new things, and celebrate the release of our order's new Strategic Plan and the training for the 2008 ArrowCorps5 projects. This five-day adventure is unlike any other event in Scouting, and only key OA members ArrowCorps5 staff and can participate.

Summit is not like a National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC). It is a designed to be the staging ground for the release of the new Order of the Arrow Strategic Plan. The Strategic plan is a five-year roadmap for the future direction of the Order of the Arrow. The leadership track of the summit (for those OA members that are the leadership of their local lodges) will take an in-depth look at the five-year goals of the OA and how they can implement them in their local units, chapters, lodges and councils.

But the NCLS will not only be learning about the new Strategic plan, there will be ample time to meet Arrowmen from through all over the country that are in lodge leadership positions just like you. These opportunities will give you the unique opportunity to share ideas and brainstorm new ones to take back to your local units and lodge. Plus there will be a trading post, shows and patch trading at night to go along with the busy days of learning about the Order of the Arrows future goals.
