Who Should Attend

Leadership:

The summit has been designed for the key three of each lodge with two other lodge representatives (and two other lodge leaders), as well as those that are interested in serving in staff roles at the ArrowCorps5 project that will take place in 2008. At the NCLS, the third strategic plan (2008-2012): Living the Legacy , which has been designed by the national Order of the Arrow committee, will be unveiled to those in attendance.

All lodge Key 3 members should plan on attending as the summit will lay the foundation for the next four years of the Order of the Arrow. Not only will there be plenty of information available but it will also provide a forum for lodges to exchange ideas throughout the event.

The Order of the Arrow strongly encourages the lodge chief, lodge adviser and lodge staff adviser as well as any other lodge leaders (for a total of five) to participate in the leadership side of this event. Moreover, we encourage lodges to send as many Arrowmen as possible to the Summit conservation program.

Conservation:

If you are interested in serving on staff at ArrowCorps5, you should register to attend the National Conservation and Leadership Summit under the conservation program. Those who attend the conservation side of the NCLS will be working as either key staff and leadership or squad leaders (much like Trail Crew Foremen) at ArrowCorps5 in 2008. Even if you already sent in your interest form, if you have not registered at http://register.oa-bsa.org please do now so that you don't miss your chance to serve. Key management and strike team leaders for ArrowCorps5 will be expected to attend.
