A National Leadership Summit (NCLS) could not function effectively without the
dedicated service of those Arrowmen who work with the Summit committees. These Arrowmen
are referred to as "Summit staff".
Members of the Summit staff pay their own way to the Summit, often traveling
with their own council contingent. At the conference, they are housed with the conference
staff and work in a support role to help make the national conference a successful
and enjoyable event.
All youth and adult Arrowmen interested in serving on the 2007 NCLS staff can
apply on line at the NCLS Registration Area on the Order of the Arrow Website: www.oa-bsa.
Signatures of the council Scout Executive and lodge adviser are required, after
printing the completed staff application from the OA Website. The deadline for submitting
a support staff application to the national office for Lead Adviser and OA Director
approval is March 31, 2007.
Staff final payments and signed appointment letter must be postmarked no later
than May 31, 2007 and mailed to the National OA Office. Payments and appointment
letters postmarked after May 31, 2007 will have a late fee charge added to the staff
fee.
The staff fee for payments post marked by May 31, 2007 is $295.00. The staff
fee for payments post marked after May 31, 2007 is $350.00.
