THE CHIEFS CORPS
OA National Conservation and Leadership Summit
July 28 – August 1, 2007

We are looking for Chiefs to further their commitment to LIVING THE LEGACY of
servant leadership.
This is a unique opportunity to become a part of history. The CHIEFS CORPS is
being formed and will be the service arm of the National Conservation and Leadership
Summit (NCLS) at Indiana University on July 28 – August 1, 2007.
Those OA members selected will become the charter members of the first CHIEFS
CORPS. The primary requirement to be eligible for consideration is that you are
or have been an elected Lodge, Section, Region, or National Chief.
Once selected, you will be part of the staff of NCLS. After that
you will continue to be an alumni member of the CHIEFS CORPS. In 2009, some will
actively serve again on the CHIEFS CORPS at NOAC, others will remain as alumni,
and new Chiefs will become members of the Corps. The CHIEFS CORPS will also be utilized
at the 2010 National, Jamboree, which will be celebrating the 100th anniversary
of the Boy Scouts of America.
To indicate your willingness to serve, simply go to the Order of the Arrow's
website (www.oa-bsa.org). Complete a staff application online for NCLS.
Your application will be reviewed by the Summit Vice Chief, Ryan Spencer; Bill Loeble,
Lead Adviser. If approved, print and send the application to the national
office with the required signatures. You will be notified of your arrival date
once your application has been approved.
