Letter from the National Chief and Vice Chief
By Donnie Stephens and Alex Call
Merely six months stand between us and the start of the largest national
conference in the Order of the Arrow’s history. 100 years of service, fellowship
and growth have led up to these days before the 2015 National Order of the Arrow
Conference and the work does not stop here. As preparations continue on the NOAC
staff’s end to plan and execute an excellent conference experience, our guests
are tasked with the responsibility of organizing their contingents, producing
centennial and NOAC merchandise, signing up for events, finalizing
transportation logistics and much, much more.
Today, we wish to welcome you to the final stretch before we all convene at
Michigan State University on August 3rd! These monthly eNewsletters are intended
to serve as a resource as your work and preparations continue in the final
months before the 2015 NOAC. In this edition, you will find an article from the
Inductions and Ceremonial Events Committee detailing new rules and regulations,
information on pre-ordering from the NOAC trading post and a description of the
centennial conference theme, “It Starts With Us.” These and other announcements
communicated through this newsletter should help you to prepare for the
experience of a lifetime.
We are excited to have you join us at the 2015 National Order of the Arrow
Conference at Michigan State University. We can hardly wait for that first night
of the conference, when the curtain will rise on our opening show and, together,
15,000 of us will begin an adventure like no other.
