Transportation
It is recommended that contingents plan to drive in and plan
some side trips along the journey. Should you choose to fly in,
the recommended airport is Springfield, MO.
We have so few people flying into the project that we have not
been able to facilitate a shuttle service. We are, however,
putting together ride shares with other staff and participants.
Please let Forrest Bolles know if you will be needing help
getting to the site and we will go to work finding an
appropriate ride. Contact Forrest at

DRIVING DIRECTIONS COMING FROM THE NORTH
(SPRINGFIELD MO.) ON HIGHWAY 65
- Take Highway 44 from either the west (Joplin) or the east (St
Louis) to Springfield, MO.
- From Highway 44 turn south onto Highway 65.
- Follow US65 to Hwy 160
- Turn left (east) onto Hwy 160
- Follow Hwy 160 to Hwy 76
- Turn right onto Hwy 76
- Follow this branch of Hwy 76 to Hwy W
- Turn right onto Hwy W
- Continue on Hwy W to Caney Creek Rd. (just outside Brownbranch)
- Turn right onto Caney Creek Rd.
- Continue to Skyline Dr.
- Turn left onto Skyline Dr.
- Continue on Skyline Dr. to Glade Top Trl.
- Turn right onto Glade Top Trl.
(1)Continue on Glade Top Trl. to Bateman Rd. (if you are parking at
the worksite)
(2)Continue on Glade Top Trl to offsite parking (if you are parking
offsite)
As you approach the area on the dirt roads (Glade Top Trl.) watch for
USFS personnel and Arrowmen providing direction
DRIVING DIRECTIONS COMING FROM THE SOUTH
ON HIGHWAY 65
- As you travel north on Highway 65 approaching Branson, prepare
to follow Hwy 65 BR into downtown Branson to the east. (this is the
actual town, not the tourist area)
- Follow US65-Br to Highway 76
- Turn left onto Hwy 76
- Follow Hwy 76 to Hwy 160
- Turn right onto Hwy 160
- Follow Hwy 160 to Hwy 76
- Turn right onto Hwy 76
- Follow this branch of Hwy 76 to Hwy W
- Turn right onto Hwy W
- Continue on Hwy W to Caney Creek Rd. (just outside Brownbranch)
- Turn right onto Caney Creek Rd.
- Continue to Skyline Dr.
- Turn left onto Skyline Dr.

Vehicles will be parked by the headquarters and our security will be
patrolling the area. Cars are to be parked after arrival. You will need
to fill out a parking card for our files and a copy placed on the dash
in case we need to contact you.
