Lodge Booths at Founders Day
Early on Wednesday morning at NOAC, Lodges are busy working one setting up their Founders Day booths. Many, many Arrowman were walking with intent to try to finish set-up before lunchtime. After lunch, Founders Day starts.
When a Lodge plans to attend NOAC, they often consider whether or not to have a booth at Founders Day. The purpose of having one is to promote your Lodge, and to fellowship with each other. One Lodge in particular decided to have a booth, and when they commit to doing something, they do it, and do it right!
Wa-Hi-Nasa Lodge, of the Middle Tennessee Council was one of these lodges. They decided to distribute "Goo Goo Bars"? One of the original candy bars, they are made of milk chocolate, peanuts, caramel and marsh- mallow in a 1.75 oz bar.
Members of Wa-Hi-Nasa Lodge were giving these away to anyone who came to their booth and did a little karaoke to some good ole' Tennessee tunes! I bet you are wondering why they brought Goo Goo Bars to Founders Day? Well, because they are made in their hometown of Nashville, Tennessee.
