Leadership Symposium

Leadership SymposiumA panel of six distinguished Scouters and leaders in their fields of business, medicine, law, writing and public service gathered for several hours to share their experiences and answer questions. Although each panel member had a unique story to tell, they all shared a history in the Scouting program. Their stories are perfect examples of how the values and ideals of Scouting can produce corporate and community leaders.

Leadership Symposium

The questions covered a wide variety of topics including the need for diversity within the Boy Scouts, leadership skills and personal examples of how having earned the Eagle rank opened doors. All panelistsagreed that the Scout Oath and Law guided both their personal and professional life and that the leadership skills learned through Scouting set them apart from their peers.
