The Brotherhood Chorus

The Brotherhood Chorus was formed at the 1952 NOAC, here at Indiana University. Currently there are 135 members in the Brotherhood Chorus, which is bigger than the 2006 NOAC. At least 25% of the members this NOAC has been in the Brotherhood Chorus at a prior NOAC. They rehearse every morning at 10 am to 11:30am in Read Hall. They are lead by conductor Alan Eggleston, who has been the Brotherhood Chorus director since the 1992 NOAC.

The Brotherhood Chorus sings many different types of music that includes inspirational songs, OA songs, and this year they will perform the Navy Hymn. You will see the Brotherhood Chorus sing in small and large groups throughout NOAC. Brotherhoodband 2

The Brotherhood Band has Arrowmen from all over the country. They started in 1958. The Brotherhood Band has 60 members and performs all over NOAC. Some of the events they played at include the arena shows, VIA Luncheon, DSA Luncheon, and the Founder's Day Parade. They are lead by conductor Bill Hudson. The Brotherhood Band rehearses every morning at 8:30am to 10am in Read Hall. The Brotherhood Band performs patriotic, OA songs, show tunes, and some pop songs.

Director Bill Hudson describes the Brotherhood Band as a hard working, great sounding band. They get a long very well, with members ranging from 16-79 years old.
