NOAC 2009 Live!
Welcome to NOAC Live! 2009

Goodbye from the NOAC Live! Chairman

NOAC Live Tema

Arrowmen, parents, and visitors,

As our 30th conference comes to a close, it is amazing to look back and think that only 7 short months ago "NOAC 2009" was put on the drawing board in front of 47 section chiefs at the National Planning Meeting in Dallas, TX. The amount of fun, fellowship, new friendships, training, and brotherhood the participants at this year's conference have shown is amazing, and is truly a memory of a lifetime.

This is the first year we have allowed the participants to share their own experiences at the conference with Pics and Flicks. Arrowmen pics and flicks from the event can continue to be viewed at http://pics.oa-bsa.org. I would like to take a few moments to thank some people who have helped to make the NOACLive! Website possible.

I would like to thank the NOAC Live! reporters and designers who included Alex Begg of Ta Tanka Lodge in Section W4S, John Benz of Talligewi Lodge in Section S6, Peter Bird of Enda Lechauhanne Lodge in Section NE4B, Ben Bodenmiller of Tsisqan Lodge in Section W1S, Joe Bracco of Lakota Lodge in Section C3B, Jim Castanzo from Wunita Gohos Lodge in Section NE6B, Frank Davis from Section NE7A, Cody Garner from Wiatava Lodge in Section W4S, Alex Hill from Kawida Lodge in Section S6, Thomas Lambert of Chilantakoba Lodge in Section S1A, Isaac McDaniel from Netopalis Sip Schipinachk Lodge in Section S2N and Steve Noonan of Tataliya Lodge in Section W1E.

I would also like extend a special thanks to the team leaders who organized the staff and planned the field reporting for the website, Michael Carter of Lakota Lodge in Section C3B and Dan Wygoda from Chilantakoba Lodge in Section S1A.

Finally, I would like to acknowledge my adviser, Doug Kupec who was always there to help out with any issues that arose over the past 7 months. Without him this web site would never have gotten off the ground.

All 14 members of my staff worked tirelessly over the past week to provide coverage of NOAC to everyone across the world, and help preserve the memories of NOAC for years to come. To give you some statistics about the website, we have written nearly 50 articles, six  photo galleries, posted multiple day in review videos, and helped take thousands of photos totaling 35 Gigabytes of data.

As we leave NOAC continue to spread the words of Brotherhood, Cheerfulness, and Service across the country, and do not forget about the memories made here during the 2009 NOAC at Indiana University. See you in 2012 at Michigan State University for the next NOAC.

Yours in Brotherhood,

Jeremy Yamaguchi
2009 NOAC Website Live! Chairman
