ONE Festival
Brand new at the 2009 NOAC is the ONE Film Festival, and The ONE Film Festival offers unique training perspective.
The films were submitted by lodges in an open completion. Unami Lodge's submission is a conclave promotion video titled I Love Conclave, in parody of the song "I Love College". Other videos to be shown include a documentary Troop 759: Boy Scouts of Harlem, the video Voice of Our Founder and a feature on how the ArrowCorps5 video was made. From these, attendees will learn how to make videos, either for their lodge's benefit, or their own personal interest.
The committee has noted that the film festival, with over 400 people already pre-registered, will most likely be the third largest session at NOAC. Only the Leadership Symposium and Signatures session are expected to draw bigger crowds.
The ONE film festival is a special event that should not be missed. All of the videos relate to either the theme (The Power of One) or the ideas of Scouting. It is clear that this new session will be a favorite in the minds of many other Arrowmen too.
The film festival will be held in 100 Woodburn Hall today from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.
