Lodge Ball

One of the popular activities at each NOAC is Lodge Ball. For those unfamiliar with the event, it is a dodge ball competition between lodges. A total of 121 teams registered for the activity, some lodges came with multiple teams!

Lodge BallThe event takes place at Woodlawn Field where as many as six matches are played simultaneously. The games are the best of 2-out-of-3, with the teams that win Round 1 moving onto the next round. The first round started Sunday afternoon and will continue today from 1:00 PM with the second round starting at approximately 3:00 PM. Competitions ends at 5:00 PM today with the finals scheduled on Tuesday. Later rounds include the "Power of One Ball", a ball tag-like game.

Isaac B, Lodge Chief of Cho-Gun-Mun-A-Nock Lodge of Hawkeye Area Council #172, whose team won their games of Round 1, says, "Lodge Ball is a great break from classes in the morning. It's where we are guaranteed to have fun with Arrowmen from other lodges."
