GOLF TOURNAMENT REPORT
For the past 3 NOACs the Goodman Open has been taking the golf links by storm averaging nearly 100 golfers in attendance. This year is no different. Nearly 150 golfers played in the tournamnet with teams competing against their fellow Brothers for the title of NOAC golf champs.
Golfers participating in the event are encouraged to wear their golfing attire to classes in the morning, bring their clubs to the bus stop where they were picked up and transported to the golf course.
The main tournament was sold out, but everyone had access to the Par 3 executive course for their practice rounds. The golfers competed for nearly a half day leaving from McNutt Hall at 11:00 a.m. and returning to the IU campus around 6:00 p.m. In spite of a slow pace, the players stated they had a wonderful time, had fun, and said it was a great tournament.
