Momentum: Spark is the second national event within the Momentum series, focusing on Inductions. Lodges will host their own virtual inductions in tandem with national programming while current members attend training and activities. We encourage you and your lodge to join Arrowmen from across the nation for this unique virtual event taking place on November 6th-7th, 2020.
In addition to candidates and elangomats (who will be registered for the induction by their lodge), current members can view the live stream of the event for free by registering as a basic delegate. Premium delegates, for a fee of $15, will be able to experience much more, similar to the registered delegate opportunity for Momentum: Launch, including:
- A mailed patch.
- Access to an archive of streamed content from Momentum: Spark.
- A chance to participate in the event-wide game.
- Access to Slack, the event community’s platform.
- Additional opportunities for engagement and interaction.

The toolkit contains 5 social media posts for use on your lodge accounts. 3 of the posts are targeted at potential candidates and 2 are targeted at current members. Please link to your lodge’s website or another resource where candidates can register for their Ordeal. Each caption can be used with other graphics and the captions may be edited as your lodge sees fit. When posting about Momentum: Spark, be sure to use the #OASpark hashtag.

The toolkit contains 4 email templates. Two of these templates are for current lodge members, and two are for potential candidates for induction. These templates are intended to be used sequentially, so that the first email would be sent approximately 1-2 weeks before the second email to each respective audience. The emails to lodge members can be added to an existing e-newsletter or sent as a standalone email.
Optional graphics are included for use with the e-news templates. Graphics 1.1 and 1.2 should be used when communicating with current lodge members and graphics 2.1 and 2.2 should be used when communicating with candidates.
Current members registering as basic or premium delegates will register through NOAERS and should be directed to momentum.oa-bsa.org. Candidates and elangomats will register through the lodge and lodge leaders will need to edit these templates to include information specific to your lodge’s induction and registration.

In order to continue building and maintaining our Order’s Momentum, the Order of the Arrow will be hosting a national inductions event, Momentum: Spark, on November 6th-7th. Momentum: Spark will include the opportunity for candidates from across the country to complete their induction, while current members participate in inductions and activation training. Then, on Saturday evening, the newly inducted members will come together with current members for an evening of fellowship and fun activities, some of which will be similar to what delegates experienced at Momentum Launch. Any Arrowman who wants to participate in Momentum: Spark must register as either a basic or premium delegate. Basic delegates can watch the live Momentum: Spark content for free. However, we encourage you to register as a premium delegate to receive a full event experience. The registration fee for premium delegates is $15 and includes access to an archive of the streamed content, access to the Momentum community platform (Slack), the ability to participate in the event-wide game, and an event patch.
