Momentum is a series of virtual events designed to build and sustain the Momentum the Order of the Arrow needs to continue to fulfill its purpose in a world where in-person meetings and events are not feasible. These virtual events are intended to not only engage Arrowmen across the country but also to provide lodge and section leaders with an example of virtual programming that they can use to recreate similar events at the lodge and section level.
On August 4th-6th, 2020, Momentum: Launch, kicked off the Momentum series with 2 full days of fun and engaging activities, alongside high-quality training and messages from the national leadership. Then, on November 6th-7th, Momentum: Spark built upon Launch’s Momentum, as the national leadership partnered with lodges to induct new members into the Order of the Arrow. There were also training sessions focused on inductions and activation for new members, as well as fun Saturday evening programming to welcome our new Brothers.
On April 23-24, 2021, both Arrowmen and non-Arrowmen alike will come together for Momentum: Discover as a movement to prepare for a successful summer camp season and recommit ourselves to the joys of camping and the outdoors with a weekend of fun, trainings, competitions, games, and more.
