Ceremony Training and Evaluation
One of the goals of the National Order of the Arrow Conference is to help lodge's
improve their ceremonies. This is done by holding ceremonies training and through
ceremony evaluation. This allows Arrowmen to learn good ceremony practices and to
see how other lodges perform the ceremonies.
Training sessions were held that gave intensive attention to the whole
induction process. Training was also offered to help improve the Ordeal,
Brotherhood, and Vigil Ceremonies |
|
During the evaluation process, attention was paid to costuming,
memorization, diction and movement. |
|
In addition to the comments made by the evaluators, other teams and
spectators were encouraged to provide helpful hints and suggestions. |
|
Participants seemed to find both the training and evaluations to be very
helpful. One team said they could not wait to get home to try out what they had
learned. |
