Basketball Details

Competitions started up today in full swing. The Basketball competitions are being held at the State Gymnasium. Games take place from 1:30 to 5:00 pm Monday and Tuesday.

In all, 64 different Lodges are competing in the Basketball competition. That means there are going to be a total of 63 games played. The competition is a single elimination style tournament, so be sure to show up on time. Teams are given five minutes from the time they are scheduled to play before a forfeit is declared.

The games consist of two ten-minute halves with a five-minute half time period. Head down to State Gymnasium to cheer on your lodge and see if you can spot the future championship team. The team that does win the tournament will be awarded a T-shirt for the members of the team.

Revised 8/03/98.
