High Adventure Expo and Training
Course Information

All individuals need to pre-register for their training online at the NOAC event registration web site.

Besides these Camping and High Adventure training sessions, courses are also offered by the American Indian Activities, Training, Inductions and Ceremony Events, and National Council of Chiefs committees.

Survivor- Outwit, Outlast, Outlive The "Bare Necessities": Do you have what it takes to survive? Stranded in the desert canyons? Did your pack just sail off a 1,000-foot cliff? Are you lost at Philmont? No problem! - Learn summer and winter survival priorities and techniques. - Learn survival tips including: shelter construction, water location and procurement, primitive and modern fire methods, and rescue techniques. - Learn how to aquire summer camping gear on a budget.

Leave No Trace - Three day Training cell Take only pictures, leave only footprints. In this 3-day course, become certified in the LNT camping philosophies and approaches. Outside course work (two afternoons) at NOAC required.
