Very Important Arrowmen Luncheon

Arrowmen eating at the VIA luncheon Taking a break from the normal NOAC lunch schedule, 155 Arrowmen gathered with the National Chief and Vice-Chief at the Very Important Arrowmen Luncheon. This luncheon was the first of five similar events. These Scouts, representing 61 lodges from across the nation, were composed of the Lodge Chief and youngest contingent member from each lodge.
National Chief Carey Mignerey addressed the group of Arrowmen. Mignerey, who called the luncheon his "favorite part of the conference", spoke of the expectation for success and achievement by the group gathered there, and he encouraged each one of them to try something they had never done before. Mignerey's address centered around the theme of confidence. To help illustrate his point, he read a poem named "The Man Who Thinks He Can."

Aaron Kreager also spoke about the OA Northern Tier Wilderness Voyage.

Revised 7/30/00.
