Climbing Walls

  Getting in harness.

One of the most popular activities provided by the Extreme High Adventure staff was the chance to "climb the walls."   Three walls were available for participants to test their climbing skills. The low wall did not require ropes, and was a chance to learn how move on the walls.  Once the climbers had developed some skill and confidence on the low wall, the helpful staff showed participants how to get into the harness for a try at the bigger walls.  Scouts had the chance to climb the high, narrow wall and a high wall with an outcropping.

Each climber received a  souvenir wooden nickel as a memento of climbing the walls at NOAC 2000.
