Trading Post News

Arrowman picking up his pre-order.Over 2900! That's the number of grocery sacks it took to bag the pre-orders at the trading post for the NOAC 2000. Patches and pins, T-shirts and polo shirts, belts and bags, buckles and bolos.

Hundreds of different items to choose from. The trading post, in addition to the thousands of pre-orders, has the things that the discriminating Arrowman needs to start or add to his or her collection of the OA NOAC memorabilia.

Toothpick holders to turtle items have been those "have to have items" that make the NOAC experience something to remember and reflect back on for years and decades to come. Towels and clocks are among the many proudly displayed items that have been "Ooooed" and "Ahhhhed" over the years.People standing in line for trading post items.

The NOAC Trading Post opened for its first full day of operation today. All six lanes were packed to the brim with staff and participants eager to buy custom-logo OA products, ranging from shirts and hats to playing cards and mouse pads. Although the lanes were slow going, many happy customers purchased the things they wanted.

The trading post has hundreds of items to fulfill every want and need. From T-shirts to patches, belts to unit election videos, and books to backpacks, the trading post has it all – even Scout uniforms. There are also items on sale from past conferences as well as from the Odyssey of the Law interactive show at the 1997 National BSA Jamboree.

Participants will receive a card that enables them to buy one set of the unique patch and back patch. NOAC participants can pick up the special patches up until Monday at lunch. Once the deadline passes, the patches will be sold only on a first come, first serve basis.

On the back wall of the trading post there are souvenirs for sale to fund the construction of the OA Heritage Center. The center will be used to store and display items from the early years of our Order. Some of the souvenirs include collector's coins and envelopes with pictures of the Order's founders. All proceeds will go towards the center’s construction.

The trading post offers Arrowmen a chance to get just about any OA-related item. Don’t miss it.
