This is no canned food drive. Arrowmen attending SummitCorps – The New River Experience in 2011 can expect to be treated to one tough task.
Dust off your mattock and McLeod rake the Order of the Arrow is doing what it knows best trail improvements. The main focus of SummitCorps will be improving the Garden Grand Hike and Bike Trail. Other projects will include the removal of invasive species.
Reminiscent of George Washington and Jefferson National Forest in 2008, SummitCorps will allow Arrowmen to practice the art of balancing conservation and preservation of a great national landmark, the New River Gorge National River in West Virginia.
