Saturday Morning Roundup

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That’s why it is called the present.

Check-Out Reminders

As you prepare to leave NOAC, please remember to bag your linens using the trash bag from your contingent leader and bring them to the lobby along with your pillow. Give your contingent leader your room key and access card to turn into the front desk. Consult your personal check-out email message sent on Friday for additional check-out information.

Thank You For Helping Tell the NOAC Story!

Thank you so much for engaging with NOAC Communications throughout the conference! Whether you commented on social media posts, used the conference app, appeared on the livestream, or shared your own photos and videos through Studio Knoxville, you helped extend and expand our reach with Arrowmen, family, and friends. Thank you for being a part of the 2022 NOAC story – it’s an exciting one!

If helping to tell the Order’s story interests you, we have several upcoming opportunities for creative and technology-savvy youth and adults. The OA’s year-round national communications committee is always looking for new members. Several OA members are leading the Event Communications team at the 2023 National Jamboree. And before we know it, planning for the 2024 NOAC will begin – and we’ll need staff to help tell that story to a new generation of Arrowmen, too.

Let Us Know How We Did!

Feedback is a gift – and the best gift you can give our conference committee is thoughtful, fair, and constructive feedback on your NOAC experience. Very soon, you should receive in your email a survey to tell us about your NOAC experience, where we excelled, and where we need to grow. Help ensure future conferences are even better by completing this short survey in the next day or two. It’ll take just a few minutes, but the information you provide will be invaluable to NOAC 2024 and beyond.

A Handshake Goodbye

As our time here comes to an end, that is not true for the connections made with others. NOAC has been a great place to form the bonds of brotherhood spoken of so highly in our ceremonies with other Arrowmen. Throughout the week, you have been able to connect with new friends, and the memories you have made with them here will last a lifetime. When you get back home, make sure to reach out to the friends you connected with this week. You never know when you may bump into someone familiar again, whether at your Conclave, on an OA High Adventure trip, or wherever your Scouting journey takes you.

Have a safe and enjoyable trip home, and we look forward to seeing you at the 2024 National Order of the Arrow Conference!
