This Week At The Goodman Edson Observatory
The Goodman Edson Observatory (GEO) offers special trainings, summits, and a series of panel discussions to dive deeper into the rich history of the OA. Experts, whose aim is to increase your appreciation for history, will lead each of these opportunities.

Tuesday
The Lodge Historian Summit for lodge historians, historical committees, and historical enthusiasts will provide methodologies for engaging in local lodge history and showcase tools for capturing local history. See the training schedule in the NOAC app for times and location.
The OA Author Series (Panel Discussion and Book Signing) will focus on the authors of recent Order of the Arrow publications. Books to be highlighted include: Brotherhood of Cheerful Service, and Bound in Brotherhood. Participants will be able to engage with the authors throughout the session and will be invited to a book signing upon conclusion of the session.
Wednesday
The 1948 NOAC @ IU (Panel Discussion) will focus on the historic 1948 NOAC at Indiana University and why IU has become a special home for the OA over the years. Participants will be able to engage in conversation with OA historians and national leadership.
The 40 Years of Service Summit will provide participants inducted into the Order of the Arrow prior to 1978 with a unique program, reception, and NOAC GEO Behind the Scenes Tour. See the training schedule in the NOAC app for times and location.
The OA ArrowCorps5 10th Anniversary Celebration (Panel Discussion) will celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the historic ArrowCorps5 event in 2008. Participants will be able to engage in conversation with project leadership.
Thursday
The Introduction to Oral History session will provide participants with an opportunity to learn the nuts and bolts of starting a youth-led oral history program within your lodge. See the training schedule in the NOAC app for times and location.
