Stay Engaged at NOAC
The National Order of the Arrow Conference has a history of providing delegates with experiences that are unmatched anywhere else in the Scouting program. This conference is shaping up to be no different thanks to groups like the brand new Engagement committee, that has been tasked with delivering a five-star experience to all NOAC attendees. The Engagement committee works on a broad range of initiatives from the staff show and religious services, to Seek, the conference wide game.
If you’re reading this article, then you’ve probably already seen the Engagement committee’s work on the orientation videos. The first video was designed to help delegates navigate the online registration system, and show them how to sign up for the various trainings and activities offered at the conference. Future videos will cover changing those original activity choices, and review other important conference details.
Engagement also oversees the concierge and information booth teams. These teams will work with contingents and individuals before and during the conference to answer any questions that they may have. The concierge will also help your contingent leaders through registration and lead their orientation meeting on arrival day.
The most exciting program that falls under the Engagement committee is the conference wide game, Seek. Based on the foundation of Spark from NOAC 2015, Seek will be an engaging and exciting way to drive participation in all areas of the conference, and help delegates connect with new people.
As we get closer to the start of the conference, be on the lookout for these key initiatives by the Engagement committee, and prepare yourself for a NOAC experience like no other!
