Section Officers Luncheon
On Sunday section leadership from across the country traveled to the Indiana Convention Center to enjoy a lunch together and listen to the national leaders share their vision for the future of the Order of the Arrow. The leaders from each section included the Section Chief, Section Vice Chief, Section Secretary, Section Advisors and other special guests. Among the speakers was Brad Haddock, the National Chairman of the Order of the Arrow, Jack O'Neil, National Chief and Dan Higham, the National Vice-Chief.
Chairman Haddock, shared an inspirational word with the leaders that included comical comments and moving stories reinforcing the conference theme "The Power of One".
He shared his personal history as a former section chief and how individuals in his life lead him to where he is today. Some of these influential people included his pastor, friends, girlfriends, scoutmaster and family. In his closing thoughts, Chairman Haddock said "when I was younger, individuals realized that my life was still a work in progress, and decided to play a role in my life and make me a better person."
The lunch was a good break from the NOAC hustle and gave all of the leaders from across the county to share ideas about the future.
