Founders Day Starts Off Right With Parade

Parade marches onFounders Day celebrates the origins of our Order, and allows Arrowmen to gather for food and fellowship and to end NOAC with a bang. What better way is there to kick off the Founders Day party than with a parade? The Founders Day parade is a NOAC tradition that everyone enjoys either as a spectator or a parade marcher.

The parade started behind the ceParade golf cartsntral building in the Brody Complex and went around the Brody complex before it was finished. The parade was led by 3 Arrowmen that marched with the American flag. Following the flag were the National Officers who were driven around in the best convertibles here at NOAC. Directly behind the National Officers was the Brotherhood Chorus, singing as they marched in an attempt to keep the parade sprit up. Behind the officers lodges marched with their lodge shield. In the jumble of lodges there were bagpipe players, banjo players, American Indian dancers, and a slew of lodge mascots dancing around. After the lodges were the section officers in decorated golf carts. The section officers threw out candy and patches to the Arrowmen on the sidewalks. Toward the end of the parade there was the wonderful sound of the Brotherhood Band playing a great marching song.
