Arrowmen Play Goodman Games

Goodman Game Banner

This Wednesday, Founder’s Day, boasted many fun and exciting activities including the Goodman Games which began at ten o’clock in the morning and ran through noon at the Brody Complex. The Goodman Games featured over 22 games at five different stations.

One of the events at the Games was an "Over, Under, Through" obstacle course that allowed Arrowmen to test their agility against that of their brothers. Other events included stilt competitions and a station that has been rightly termed ‘He Webs We Weave’. There also was a branding station where Arrowmen were able to brand words and images onto their belts or any other viable material they could find. By far one of the more interesting and newest addition to the Goodman Games was the Realistic First Aid Station. Arrowmen were able to learn first-hand about some new first aid skills in realistic trauma settings; fake blood was used in some of the demonstrations to illustrate certain first aid skills. The Goodman Games also provided ideas for games that lodge participants can play at their Conclaves and lodge functions.
