Competitions Heat Up the Afternoon

Basketball At NOACThe Activities and Recreations Committee (ARC) coordinates all of the afternoon activities at NOAC with a full offering of activities for active Arrowmen. Some of the interesting events included were Basketball, Volleyball, Lodgeball, Ultimate Frisbee, Capture the Flag, the Amazing Race, Pre-School Triathlon and a Golf Tournament.

The Golf Tournament was held at Forest Acres West Golf Course and was a chance for Arrowmen to get together and have some fun while playing 18 holes of golf in Michigan. This was the third time NOAC featured a golf tournament as an activity for Arrowmen to participate in.

For those not partaking in the golf tournament there was also basketball, volleyball, lodgeball, and ultimate frisbee tournaments in which lodges participated. Overall these events was a great chance for Arrowmen to release their extra energy and enjoy their NOAC experience.

Another interesting event was the Capture the Flag competition which not only allowed Arrowmen to have a good time, but also to work together and meet new people they might otherwise never meet. The national conference is unique in tRegistration at the Pre-School Triathlonhis aspect in that it brings Arrowmen together from all over the nation and all different walks of life and backgrounds.

The Amazing Race and Pre-School Triathlon were two of the ARC committee's three-day-long events this year.
