'The Experience' of NOAC

Now that the National Order of the Arrow Conference has started, "The Experience" has been unveiled. The Experience is a new addition to NOAC and is the one place to experience a little bit of everything that NOAC offers. There is nothing that you need, except the ability to have fun and be amazed.

Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday will be exciting days because The Experience is open from 10 AM to 4 PM. There are great new and innovative products that relate to many different Scouting areas such as camping and high adventure.  Just some of the exhibiting companies include Cascade Designs, GoLite, and Brunton. There are also fun activities such as the American Indian blow dart booth, Krelman Corporation patch design booth, Buck knives booth, and much more. At The Experience participants can complete a requirement for their Participation Award by filling out a survey and then receive a free ArrowCorp5 T-Shirt. The Krelman Corporation booth gave the participants a chance to create a patch design that will be judged and if selected will become the official 2008 ArrowCorps5 patch.  In return for creating a patch design participants received a promotional ArrowCorps5 patch while supplies lasted.

The Experience also promoted the many national outdoor programs, like OAOA (OA Ocean Adventure), Northern Tier, and Philmont Trail Crew. In addition, National BSA programs were promoted such as BSA Venturing.

If participants only visited one activity at NOAC then “The Experience” would be a great choice. This is the place where participants can get to touch, feel and test some of the most interesting products at NOAC.
