The Golf tournament was held at the Veenker Memorial Golf Course located near the Iowa State University campus. Several Arrowman competed in the competition and practiced their swings. This was the first-ever Golf tournament held at a National Order of the Arrow Conference. Arrowman even had the chance to drive golf carts from hole to hole, which made it more enjoyable in the humidity of the afternoon.Arrowmen in the Ultimate frisbee competition The results of the tournament will be posted on the site along with the rest of the competition results. Arrowman also had the chance to compete in several other activities, including ultimate frisbee. The ultimate frisbee competition was held in the afternoon in the Willow-Maple-Larch Intramural field, where Lodges competed for the title of national ultimate frisbee champions.

The Iron Arrowman Competition was also held this afternoon. The competition divided the Iron Arrowmen from the "not-so-Iron" Arrowmen, or those that can't carry 10 gallons of water without spilling any. The competition was a timed event, in which the Arrowman had to first carry 10 gallons of water around the parking lot followed by another lap with 5 gallons of water. If any water was spilled, there was a time penalty; so the strong Arrowman couldn't merely race around the parking lot. The second event was to see how long an Arrowman could hold up 10 gallons of water. These participants showed everyone just how tough an Iron Arrowman is.Iron Arrowman competition

The participants had lots of fun competing and showed their sport skills. The lodges expressed their competitive nature with lodge enthusiasm and good sportsmanship spirit. We thank all of the participants, and wish them the best.
