Rededication Ceremony

Arrowman holding candle

After the theme show, "Voices," a rededication ceremony was held to remind NOAC participants of why we are in the Order.

Arrowmen holding candlesAs they left the coliseum, each Arrowman was given a candle. These were then lit from the candles of others, sharing the spirit of brotherhood across the Order. After the participants lit their candles they gathered at one end of the courtyard. In front of them, on four tall columns, stood four costumed Arrowmen, representing the four principals in our ceremonies. Each gave short reflection on one of the principles of our Order. The ceremony concluded with all Arrowmen present joining hands and singing the song of our Order.

As the Arrowmen stood in the midst of a sea of candles under the starlit sky, they thought of all the friends that they had made and all of the memories that they would have for the rest of their lives.Candles

As a young Arrowman said, "Dr. E. Urner Goodman had a vision, and I am glad he sought the vision he had. Otherwise, all we know today of the Order would never have happened."
