NOAC 2004 - Arrowman Press Corps
Arrowman Press Corps
The National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC) is one of the most amazing
experiences one can ever have, and one each of us will want to remember forever.
How better to remember it than to write the stories that tell all those back
home about the Conference? That is exactly what the Arrowman Press Corps
(APC) does. It allows Arrowmen to be creative in relaying information about
the largest Order of the Arrow event of the year.
If you enjoy writing, photography, serving your Brothers, and above all want
to have a great time, then the Arrowman Press Corps is the place for you. We
also have a variety of tools to help you write the best articles possible, and
the resources to help you get the article edited and sent to your hometown news.
The Corps gets special access to parts of NOAC that no normal Arrowman gets
access too, like:
- Exclusive time behind the scenes of the Conference Shows
- Daily press packet of activities and special interests
- Special seating at some shows
- Exclusive time with special guests and important figures
at the conference during Meet the Man sessions.
Interested?
After securing your spot in your lodge's delegation to the national conference,
you can register for the Arrowmen Press Corps at the online
NOAC
event registration web site. Before registering, make sure to get approval
from both your lodge chief and adviser, and make sure that you have received
approval to write for your local paper or your council/lodge newsletter. Please
apply early, as only a limited number of spots are available in the Corps.
The press corps will receive information about their duties during the conference
over the summer, as well as the time and location of the training for the Arrowman
Press Corps. During this training, we will do all we can to make your releases
the best they can be, while making sure that you still stay involved in all
the great fun that NOAC is and can be.
Individuals need to pre-register for this event online at the
NOAC
event registration web site.
