NOAC 2002 National Council of
Chiefs Update
The National Council of Chiefs (NCOC) meeting at NOAC 2002 will
provide a special opportunity for all Lodge Chiefs, Lodge Advisers,
and Lodge Staff Advisers.
All Section Chiefs, Section Advisers, and Section Staff Advisers
are also invited to attend.
The NCOC will be run in two sessions.
All Lodge and Section Key-3 members from the
Central and Northeast
regions will participate in session #501 on
Monday morning, July 29th, only.
All Lodge and Section Key-3 members from the
Southern and Western
regions will participate in session #502 on
Tuesday morning, July 30th, only.
If you are a Lodge Chief, Lodge Adviser, or Lodge Staff Adviser,
your critical position of leadership makes you one of the most
valuable assets of the Order. In recognition of that and on
behalf of the National Officers and National Order of the
Arrow Committee, you are cordially invited to attend the
third National Council of Chiefs.
This special meeting of lodge leaders from around the country will
take place during NOAC 2002, and will include exclusive refreshments.
This meeting is unlike any prior National Council of Chiefs. The
program has been redesigned completely to be tailored to the
specific desires of lodge Key-3 members. At the NCOC, you can
expect to gain resources, an orientation to the new strategic
plan, and opportunities to improve your lodge's program.
The National Council of Chiefs committee looks forward to
greeting all Key-3 members at this tremendous event.
We would be most grateful to have you join us.
The National Council of Chiefs Committee has recently announced that
Section Chiefs, Section Advisers, and Section Staff Advisers have
also been invited to attend
this groundbreaking event. Although not mandatory, the presence of the
Section Key Three Leadership will assist with the unveiling of the OA
Strategic Plan (2003-2007), as well as provide resources and feedback to
provide direction to the Order's future.
If you are a
member of your Lodge or Section Key-3, make sure you sign up for
the appropriate
NCOC session on your Individual Registration form.
