NOAC 2002 Call-Out Script Competition

The purpose of the NOAC 2002 Call-Out Script competition is to provide lodges with useful comments from experienced ceremonialists on how to improve their Call-Out scripts.  Excellent Call-Out ceremonies will also be shared with other lodges. All lodges that submit a Call-Out script will receive copies of the winning scripts. Awards will be presented to the top three ceremony scripts. The application for the Call-Out Script Competition, along with the Guidelines for Call-Outs can be found in the National Conference Program Packet, or below.

Please note that this competition will be based only upon the written script submitted. A Call-Out team will not be evaluated as a part of this competition. A lodge can enter the Call-Out Script Competition even if it does not participate in the Call-Out team evaluation.

Call-Outs scripts should comply with the Guidelines for Call-Outs - NOAC 2002 and include all nine (9) Key Call-Out Elements.

In order to participate, a Lodge must submit four (4) printed copies and one copy in Microsoft Word format on a floppy disk of their Call-Out script. The copies must be delivered to the Inductions and Ceremonial Committee office by noon on Sunday July 28th.

If you have questions about the Call-Out Script competition, contact Terry Honan, Lead Adviser for Inductions and Ceremonial Events, at honan@aol.com

All lodges that will participate in Call-Out Script Competition must complete an application and return it to the National OA Office by May 31, 2002.
