"Most" Competition Rules

This new event to NOAC will test a variety of your skills. Each day (Saturday - Tuesday) will feature a different challenge. At the end of each day, we will have a champion in each age group Keep your ears open for the buzz on this hot new event! Sign up as individual event 910 on your Individual Registration form.

 

General

Four age divisions: under 16, 16-18, 18-21, Over 21

One event per day
  Saturday:   Most Consecutive Free-Throws
  Sunday:     Most Speed of Baseball Pitch
  Monday:   Most Yardage on Football Throw
  Tuesday:   Most Accuracy to Golf Pin

The event runs from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Competitors participating at 6:00 pm will be allowed to finish.

Each competitor will be assigned to a Witness immediately before beginning competition.

Witnesses will be the judge and decisions are final.

All records will be kept with the Record Keeper and he shall post all new records.

All competitors must leave area and return to participate again.

Competitors attempting to distract or hinder another competitor in any way will lose their chance to participate.

Obvious misuse of competition and/or equipment will result in disqualification (abuse and loose rule).

The staff reserve the right to change or alter rules in any way at any time.

 

Free Throws

Competitors shoot with collegiate regulations (ball, hoop, and basket).

Competitors will not be allowed to cross 15' mark or leave ground in act of shooting.

Witnesses will rebound ball and return to competitor.

No practice shots will be given and once a basket has been missed the competitor's chance is over.

 

Baseball Pitch

Competitors throw from 20' at designated target.

Competitors will be given a total of three throws.

Only fastest pitch will be recorded.

 

Football Throw

Competitors will be given a total of two throws.

Only farthest throw will be marked with small flag bearing Name, Lodge Number, and age division.

 

Closest to Pin

Competitors will hit a total of three golf balls

Distance will be measured from pin to closest golf ball
