Camping Equipment and High Adventure Expo

The High Adventure Expo, showcasing vendors and displays that appeal to Scouting and the Order of the Arrow, began Tuesday. Many vendors were present giving away advice, tips, and (most importantly) free stuff.

Just by attending, Scouts and Scouters had the opportunity to win camping-related items from tents to backpacks.  They also could win items from a table full of camping equipment or even cookbooks. Vendors such as Coleman, Sierra Designs, Camp Chef, Grabber, Nikwax, and TentOnSale.com were present to display their products to expo-goers.

In addition to the vendors, displays and demonstrations that were highlighted at the expo, representatives of the OA Philmont Trail Crew, the Northern Tier Wilderness Voyage, and the three Boy Scouts of America High Adventure Bases were present to answer questions. Additionally, the treks selected a few lucky Arrowmen to receive free treks.
