NOAC Patch Design Contest

Pin

Our judges will be looking for a patch design that best exhibits creativity, originality, and visual beauty. The slogan for NOAC 2009 is “The power of one.” The slogan should serve as a guide for patch designs. There will be only one winner, but there will be three (3) honorable mentions selected by the judges, the Section Chiefs at the National Planning Meeting in December.

Prizes

The winner of the NOAC Patch Design Contest will receive a $100 credit at the Order of the Arrow Trading Post at NOAC, as well as a seat in the Skybox, the seating area for very important Arrowmen at shows, on a night to be determined at the conference. Additionally, the winning designer will be interviewed to discuss their winning patch design, and this interview will be shown at the show during which they are seated in the Skybox.

Skybox seats typically consist of a special viewing platform close to the stage, use of a reclining chair for the duration of the show, and drinks and snacks served by special Skybox assistants.

Three (3) honorable mentions will be awarded a $40 credit at the Order of the Arrow Trading Post at NOAC. The winning patch will be used as a patch for the 2009 National Order of the Arrow Conference. The winner, the three honorable mentions, and their patches may also be featured in the National Bulletin and on the NOAC 2009 Website.
