At the 2013 National Scout Jamboree, Scouts will be able to visit the OA Indian Village during the Jamboree Trek at the top of the Garden Ground Mountain. The OA Indian Village will include an in depth view of the American Indian culture, regalia and dance of tribes from around the country. Skilled dancers and craftsmen will be needed to provide an unforgettable experience to the Scouts.
Arrowmen may indicate their interest in serving on the OA Indian Village by filling out the online interest form here.
Additional information for the OA Indian Village staff will be posted by October 1, 2011.
"The Order of the Arrow Indian Village is an incredible way for Arrowmen to instill the values of our organization into Scouts across the country. By participating as an Indian Village staff member in 2010 I was able to learn many of the cultures and traditions of the American Indian, and I shared my knowledge with the thousands of Scouts who visited the Order's Indian Village."
